Viewing and / or collecting articles directly from our shop:

It is of course possible to visit our shop in order to view the items depicted on our site. However, we kindly request you to make an appointment in advance. In the first place to avoid that you will find our shop closed because of engagements elsewhere and secondly, the article you are interested in, might not be available at our Wassenaar location.

Option / order:

Without engagement you can take an option on one or more articles. Duration of the option will be arranged by mutual agreement, but will never exceed one month.
We will change ''option'' into ''sold'' on our website, as soon as the article has been paid for, shipped and/or collected from our shop.

Purchases on our website without viewing:

Shipping will take place as soon as we have received the total invoice amount. Until then you have an option on the article(s).
For payment, kindly use our bank-account (ING-bank) no. 3 45 77 10 in the name of Valentijn Antiek Wassenaar, and don't forget to mention the invoice or article number, as well as the address we have to send the goods to.

Shipping / delivery to your home address:

this is possible, in which case delivery and costs of delivery are to be arranged by mutual agreement.
In The Netherlands:
the goods are sent by registered or insured POSTnl. In case size or weight of the article is more than allowed by POSTnl, we will arrange (by mutual agreement) for another way of shipping, such as cargo service or delivery by way of our own service.
During transport the goods are always insured.
In Europe:
the same conditions apply as for The Netherlands, with the difference that our own delivery service is not applicable.
Outside Europe:
the goods are shipped to countries outside Europe by ''priority post''.
Maximum weight of the parcel: 2 kg. Unfortunately we are not able to ship heavier articles.

For all shipments the following applies:
On the day of shipping we send you an e-mail with a copy of the dispatch receipt.

The parcel must have reached you within one week after this message. If not, please contact us, either on phone or by e-mail.
In case the parcel is received in such a damaged condition, that the possibility is there that its contents are damaged as well, we seriously urge you: do not open the parcel. Instead report the damage to the carrier and inform us immediately, upon which we will contact our insurance company to report the damage

Legal provision:

In case that you should not be satisfied with the article or regret the purchase, the legal provision applies that you can return the article to us within 10 days after the invoice date. Costs of shipping and insurance are then for your account.
As soon as we have received back the article in undamaged condition, the invoice amount, with the exception of our costs of shipping, will be remitted to your bank-account.
